12/27/2023 0 Comments Great wolf lodge anaheim phone numberWe spent over $2k just at the property and on our last day we sadly couldn’t wait to leave, it was that bad. Oh and my ticket didn’t work twice and I had to go to Front Desk to get new ones. But for hotel guests, parking should be part of the resort fee. Having to pay $30 a day for parking on top of a resort fee is straight out robbery, I totally understand needing to charge for parking for non-hotel guests, especially given the location. The app to order food did not work most of time we were there (seems to be a common issue at all Lodges). Dunkin’ Donuts had a spot for mobile orders but they were not accepting mobile orders. On top of several stations not working, the solution, “we’ll just advance you in the game.” Sad! We had a 1st floor room which was great so we didn’t have to deal with the elevator traffic, but our room over looked a patio and we didn’t have any sheers on our windows to let the nice outside light in but keep some privacy. The layout took all the fun away from the game having to wait for elevators or climb stairs. The person who thought it was a good idea to put the Magi Quest stations on the hotel floors was either drunk or high when they thought that was a good idea. You mean to tell me that Housekeeping doesn’t have a process to report when they find towels? I find that very odd and poor service. The 3rd towel did go back to our room but it was sitting in the bathroom with the rest of the towels when we left. Water park was fine except that the next day after we departed I received an additional bill for $50 for not returning pool towels, we gave 2 of our towels to the towel attendant, not our fault he didn’t log it. Overall food was poor, pizza and burgers had little to no flavor, garlic bread was brunt badly, dinner buffet was a complete rip off, $30 a person for a sad selection and maybe the worst prime rib I’ve ever had. Hair and mildew buildup in shower, several stained bath towels as well. Room Cleanliness was poor, tape left on walls from last guest and both beds were short sheeted, which is difficult to do on a queen bed. The only highlights were the Front Desk and Housekeeping Teams were pleasant and helpful. Sadly this time, the experience was awful. To start, we love Great Wolf Lodges, we have stayed now at 4 different lodges. I waited a couple of weeks to post hoping that the property would respond to my internal review I gave them, sadly their reply was poor and did not address 90% of the issues I mentioned. I've never seen a hotel blatantly treat someone like an income source instead of a valued guest. The cherry on top, I called their customer service number to have a break down of any extra fees, the rude operator told me to wait 24 hours for the recept and to call back then. Be prepared for extra fees and a complete lack of assistance from front desk. I had never been so happy to leave a hotel before upon check out. My children did not feel safe for the rest of the stay. It took the staff about 10 minutes to actually arrive to the scene and do something. After only a half hour at the water park, my family (including children) saw two families arguing which almost led to a phisical altercation. The water park was smaller then advertised and had little staff/security. The activities were poor in execution and the "story time" was akward at best. I called the front desk multiple times around 6pm for extra towels and no one answered or bothered returning my room call. The bathtub was dirty and there were very few blankets for the number of people the room is accommodated for. The blankets for the childrens beds were laughably small. In addition to being the first location in California as well as being the first with a parking garage with the addition of street level parking near the main entrance, this location was also chosen to beta test MagiQuest Chronicles: Guardians of the Realm Portals or also known by fans as "MagiQuest 2.0".The hotel was not what we had expected.
